Here is a charming little bakelite frame containing two photos - one of a British officer smoking a pipe and the other of a contemporaneous woman that was probably either his wife or his sister. There was probably a little thing to hang the frame but it has broken off the back. Cannot quite make out the regimental badge on the hat even with a loop.....I'll put it under the microscope so may have more to add on this.
