My daddy square danced from the late 1960's until his death in 2010. Over the years he collected an assortment of western style belt buckles; many were gifts. The buckle pictured here, was given to him sometime around 1979-81. I am not positive but I believe it was purchased while my parents went to Hawaii for their 50th anniversary. My brother (also deceased) traveled a lot and always brought nice gifts back to our parents, so it's possible this was purchased in Mexico. It features 2 images on a multi stone mosaic background (turquoise, tiger eye & others) set in silver. The sticker on the back says $245.00, so I am assuming by the price that it is real silver. I haven't had any luck identifying the images- If anyone can tell me what they are I'd love to know more about them.
