Would love to share my vintage cases with you all. I bought these a couple of months ago at a boot sale for £18.00, I love them! They are now at the foot of my bed storing my new collection of antiques and collectibles books, that I am finding, bedtime reading. This hobby is addictive, fascinating and fun! All these items I am finding deserved to be displayed and shown, not locked in a shed or stored in an attic.
There is no maker names on these suitcases, but thankfully have their original keys. Anyone got any idea of age?
Hi HollyPics -- lovely suitcases. I am thinking that the top black one comes from around the late 20's early 30's and the two brown ones come from the 40's. I have two stacks of old suitcases on display like yours and I could not agree more -- let the light shine on them!
