Trenchartman
(30 items)
I have been in the antique business and restoration service for 31 years now and have seen some amazing pieces throughout that time. I thoroughly enjoy collecting a variety of items trench art is one of my favorite collectibles I have around 75 pieces in a growing collection . Every piece is unique and a beautiful piece of art. The large lamp in the background was one of my first purchases. I saved it from going to the scrap yard off the back of a truck for $5.00. I completely restored it to bring out the beauty of the piece. The Prussian helmet I received for my birthday when I was 13 I have the original cone shaped box and cover for the hat (really neat item). The rest of the pieces on the desk I have picked up here and there. This is great I have wanted to share my collection with others I will post individual pictures of items as I have time.
Thanks for viewing my collectibles

Very cool stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I find trenchart fasinating. Just think bullets flying in a trench making little objects out of shells. Just great! Dave
Amazing collection you got there, I also collect trenchart, I'm living in Belgium and the 2 big wars are still in our veines.
Very nice is the helmet real? Looks like it is I've only seen two. A friend of mine his father cooked for the Kaiser after WW I. He was given those two helmets and a very nice Red Stage antler handled cutlery set. The family left Germany & Italy before WW II.
James,
Yes the helmet is real. I will be adding individual pictures of it soon.
Thanks

It looks like it is in real nice shape. The two my friend has aren't near as that nice looking. My friend say he and his brothers played with them as children. That's why they don't look so good. Nice looking helmet on the side too.
Trenchartman, check my newest posting on sweetheart jewerly and look at the large brass V that has a bullet in the center. It look like trench art to me.
