I would have paid twice that:-)
I remember a 1909 piece that was in much better condition selling for $1,400 back in Dec. This being a bit later and in fair condition (actually looked much better in hand), I thought the the $800.00 was fair. I also only had $100 in it.

Motorcycle collectors are crazy, I wouldn't have put it past ya. I have seen guys pay crazy prices for pieces they don't have.
