Watch left behind in an estate... Serial Number 22373591, 15 jewel, and on the inside of the back cover it says Fahys Montauk Guaranteed 20 years, then engraved by hand the letters H O-946 @ (I think, very tiny engraving)
THEN it has another number on this 9673309.... does anyone know what the history of this watch might be.. I am not a collector and don't know much about these pieces ... i can provide additional pics if need be!
Thank you

This watch is from 1919, I believe only about 4000 of this model were made. Elgin is an American pocket watch company founded in the late 1800's in Illinois. I dont know exactly what its worth...I would need to see some more pics i can see its got 2 hands missing...does it still tick
nope no ticking.. it is missing two hands.. but I have more pics coming in a moment... maybe that will help!
