Picked these 2 up the other day . I believe they were at on time, some kind of "Table Lamp" or incense burner. They are intricately carved (of what I do not know) They are both distinctly different, and thats why I am hoping that they are not "newer items" from China. They very well could be........There are no makers marks. They stand 9" tall and both sit on pedestals. Any help would be appreciated.....

Thanks Jim.......I know its hard to try and determine through these photos, but do you see anything that would suggest antique, or at least not mass produced. (cheap and made in Asia) They are not two identical pieces. This is what leads me to believe they could be authentic. Even the bases are different. If they were mass produced, then, one would thing repetitiveness would show through......Anyways, thank you for your insight. I will further my searches down this road.......take care.....

These are gorgeous!!!.... have they been carved from one piece or are areas individually carved and placed together to make up the whole thing?..I was thinking maybe bone, hard to see!… Do you use them.., I can just see them with a small candle in them flickering away on the patio table..lovely!.......:-)
