Hello :)
I was going through some of my older boxes that had been in storage for a few months and ran across these...I remember picking them up at one of my favorite little thrift stores for a very good price $3...I started researching but haven't found anything and remembered (thanks Inky!) that I haven't been on here in a while and I should just post them. To me this skillet looks vintage and aged (?)...I know nothing about copper pans and haven't found anything re this type of cookware that says "MADE IN JAPAN" - and any idea what/who the label is?...very curious. Any information would be wonderful...
Cheers,
Rhonda

I am wondering with it having such a wide rim if it may be a bed warmer.... :-)
Hi inky :).... I hadn't thought about that...it is pretty deep for a skillet, another angle to research :)
Do you have more , or just the one? Maybe part of a fondue set?
Thank you Sean and maryh1956 :)...I do have another that is the same shape/brand but it is much more aged and discolored, perhaps they were a pair...?
I have seen very similar pieces as part of a chafing set. Here is an example from 170995886934 Item number:
Hi mary, the link didn't come through...I'll look into chafing sets, don't even know what that is, lol...love the learning curve ;)
It wasn't a link, just the ebay item number. if you go to ebay and just put the number in the search it will show the item
