I in herited this car many years ago (and actually played with it as a child) and I have never been able to find it in a book or anything. It belonged to my grandparents (my dad is 87 and the youngest of 10) but I'm not quite sure of its age or value. Can someone please tell me a bit about my car? Still works by the way!

Chaddiesgirl, I'd put the second picture first as that's the one everybody will see and I'd flip them so they're oriented properly. You'll get more people to open up the page and really check it out if you do. It's a great item and even cooler that it's a family piece! Thanks for sharing it!!!
Thanks. I've had to do this on my phone because my computer crashed. Not sure why the photos flipped or how to correct it on my phone. Last time I posted two pics the one I posted second showed up first so this time I did the opposite and it still did it. Grrr
Tin litho car, early fifties I would think.
If you type "Modern toy tin litho toy car" into google image you will that model & similar ones.
Nice keepsake & great that it works!
Thanks!
