    Nice looking Seiko wind up, My believe is a 1960's Very nice, needs a New face acrylic, but I really do not know the age of this Beauty, I can try to find the acrylic face, if somebody knows where I can get it?? I will appreciated... with any info you may find..

    And I will like to share some of my collections.... since I'm a watch collector and try to learn more about this Beauties..

      April of 1973, 1631 watch made in this series.

      kerry -- how did you know it was made in 1973 -- i can see where the 1631 came from but am unable to break seiko's coding on year of manf -- thanks

      epson233, Seiko's date reference is the first digit is the year in the decade and second digit is the month, the remaineds are the number made to this piece. Beings it's a manual wind, that tells me it was the 70's for the decade, had it been any newer it would have probably been a quartz movement.
