THE DEALER ONLY GAVE TWO DETAILS IN HIS DESCRIPTION: THAT THE PIECE WAS 8.25" TALL, AND THAT IT HAD A "TINY" RIM CHIP. HE DID NOT EVEN MENTION IT WAS MARKED, THOUGH HE DID PHOTOGRAPH THE MARK (PIC. 2). NO PICTURES OF THE SHOT GLASSES, THE STOPPER OR THE BOTTOM. LET US ASSUME THERE ARE NO MAJOR PROBLEMS.
BUT I SAW MORE: I RECOGNIZED THE SHAPE FROM THE 1930 BUTLER CATALOGS (PIC. 3, FIRST ROW, ITEM 4). BUT ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. MADE OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE LIGHT GREEN GLASS, SUMPTUOUSLY ENAMELED AND WITH JEWELED GRAPE BUNCHES IN RED (PICS. 1). MY TINY (PIC. 3, 2") KOHLN SOUVENIR VASE ALSO HAS JEWELED GRAPE BUNCHES IN RED AND BLUE (PIC. 3), SO I ASSUME A COMMON MANUFACTURER.
WHEN BUYING THESE DECANTERS, IT IS BEST TO GET THOSE WITH COMPLETE GLASS SETS. SO FAR, I ONLY HAVE THREE, EACH OF A DIFFERENT SHAPE AND TWO WITH ENAMELED GRAPES.
BY THE WAY, kYLE INFORMED ME ONE OF THE TUMBLERS HAS BROKEN UPON PACKING, AND I TOLD HIM I HAD A SOLUTION: A SIZE 9 WELL WOULD DO DOUBLE DUTY AS A SHOT GLASS! WE ALSO DISCOVERED HOW TO MAKE A LIQUID RUN THROUGH THE FULLY FUNCTIONAL SPOUT: SIMPLY REMOVE THE STOPPER WHILE YOU ARE POURING THE LIQUID OUT.

I know. I was being ornery. Remember, we buy literally on faith. Description is all important. I would not have hit that button unless I love it! But . . . how tall are the shot glasses?
Right on. And I agree, I usually would have included those pics and info. Been working on 7 storage units and finishing a move at the same time...wasn't working on full brain power :).
The glasses are 1.5" tall. Glad you like it, me too. Was fun playing caretaker for a year :D
