    Hello again everyone,

I am looking to see if anyone has ever seen anything like this jar. It is old as the seems do not match up, so it is blown glass. What is it used for?

    Thanks

I know some one who has one identical to yours. It was given to her by her mother. I am told you put peanuts ( probably original use) or M&M's in it and then just pour into your hand. I just found one on Etsy, purchased it for 14.00 and it is coming from Canada. It looks like it has more decorative glass than yours. Can't wait to get it, any day now. Hope this helps you.

One more thing about your jar, it should have a cork stopper in the top as a "lid". My friends does.
