It was for drinking wine, I was told that it was held by someone else, the wine comes out at a fine flow, the person receiving the wine tilts their head back and opens their mouth, not sure if it is totally correct! These vessels were brought back from Spain by the holiday makers, no doubt trying the art it out!!LOL!!
I think the other capped spout is to give the Wine air so it would flow out at a steady stream
So basically, its a "wine bong"....how cool!...thanks!
