Posted is a 1:24 scale die-cast model of a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. The 59 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz was famous for its tall tailfins, extra chrome and extreme dimension. These convertibles (Eldorado Biarritz) were among the most expensive offerings from the luxury car maker in '59 with a staggering sticker price of $7401.

This is without a doubt the best design Cadillac ever built! One of the only car designs in the world where the rear end over powers the grill. Truly an innovative design for 1959 and iconic today! It's too bad Cadillac has become the eye soar box car designs we see today.

I have a few die cast Caddies of the same scale as well. Not sure of the maker. I bought them a while ago. I have this 59' with the top down. A 1973 dark green Eldo convertible with the top down. and a sky blue and white 1958 Eldo with a red interior.I also have a 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk. All in display cases. I was also able to find the dealer brochures for a couple of these cars as well. The 59' has the pages from an article about it in "Special Interest Autos Magazine" from 1985. Not as good as a real brochure, but still interesting to read. -Mike-
