    Hello Friends
    I hope everyone is well.

This is a recent purchase, from Sal's. I got all excited when I saw it.
About 10 inches in diameter, I love the design and the general impression of it.
    Confused though,
it's definitely handpainted, and looks old, and there's a fair amount of wear to the bottom, but something about the finish,....the feel of it and pronounced crackle makes me wonder if it is,( old ).
And the mark, just the sienna initials ' E F '
    Is it even Italian?
I hope you like it, thanks for taking a look,
    Tony.

It looks like Italian majolica but I have no idea about age.

Yes, the photo's of my 'Marianne', I'll post her Sister 'Gilligan' next.
They were born on a boat next to the harbor in Hyannis, ( the people at the shelter named them after the Gilligan's Island characters ). I went back to get the 'Professor', but he was adopted minutes before I got to the shelter.
I was thinking of calling the shelter to see if I could arrange a family reunion with the other kitties from the litter, ( I know it couldn't happen, but I thought it would be something to see them all together again,.....was wondering if they're recognize each others scent ) Marianne has another name, ' Marti ' after a dear relative, and
' Gilligan ' is usually called ' Lucky '. Sorry for going on, but I'm crazy about my girls!

I learned that if you look at the style of clothing then this can be a clue as to the date of some pieces.
