I found this at a estate sale a month or so ago, I thought it was a nice color. And I do like butterflies! I am not really a pottery collector, but I didn't want to pass this one up because they only wanted $3.00 for it. It has a tiny fleck missing from the rim which I am sure affects the value. It is about 7" tall. Is it worth anything? From what I have read, I think its considered average, nothing special.

Made in 1930 flame mark. If it were in good shape 250.00-300.00 depending were you live market varies. But the chip does hurt, You may try to have it repaired? Mine? I would put 100.00 on it. I thik its the Butterfly pattern. Dave
Wow! That was fast! Thanks! Now I just have to try not to break it. Who would you take it to to repair it?
Check with a local Museum, they might know someone locally. Dave
beautiful rookwood vase.$3 was a good deal, even with a chip
I found a nice signed piece of Rookwood at a Yard Sale for Breast Cancer and got there late in the day. Couldn't find anything I liked but felt bad about not buying something. So I looked in a box seen a small vase with underglazed flowers. Signed on the bottom by artist. Turned it over and thought I know that mark but??? They wanted a $1.00 but I gave them $2.00. Got home opened the door and it hit me Rookwood! I sold it for $475.00 to a collector. Dave
Dah21112 & Dave That is why estate sales and garage sales are such fun. I love it when I buy something, bring it home and find out I scored! Dave, I can't believe you got one that was even signed...too cool.
