had this for 40 yrs traded a bow top trunk for it ---
base has damage --- stamp is a diamond shape with circle at the top with i think # 11 in it just below is carved # 29 ---at bottom either H orK center are letters Rd --- in side is # 12 --- allthis is my best guess --- box is probably rosewood --- as is cribbidge board and inset with ivory --- chess men and checkers are wood --- pegs are ivory as are dice ---cards are in mint shape and instructions for bezique game are dated 1872 --- included note says gift by edward buliver or lady sherborne to john forster of palace gate house --- kensington ---london --- england
