This amethyst glass is 5 inches tall, 2 inch base, with cut decorative top edge. It was appraised in 1985 for $225 as Moser glass with applied bee design. There are no identifying marks or signatures on the clear base or in the painted design. I have not been able to find anything comparable so would like to know if it is Moser. Any specific information???? Thanks

I don't think the quality of decoration is up to Moser standards. It definitely isn't a moser blank.
I think this is most likely a harrach blank with harrach applied bees.. Decoration.. maybe harrach maybe not.. the bees are great to find on pieces like this but the rest of the decoration is not what people look for in high dollar pieces. This very well may have been worth 500 back in 85 in teh days before the internet (Everything was harder to find back then) but I think you'd struggle to get that for it now. If it had fish, birds or frogs or something like that as welll it would be a whole 'nother ball game.
oh wait 225 not 545.. I read that wrong. NM LOL.
Thanks. I agree that the piece is NOT Moser quality and wondered what it is. Not looking to sell, so just looking for information.
