I grabbed this at an estate sale today because it was pretty. It is stamped RS Prussia on the bottom. Does anybody have any info/knowledge about it?

It looks to be missing a lid-- probably a biscuit jar.
The size of the object may help in determining original use.

Thanks everyone! It measures just under 4 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide at the widest part. I think it probably is missing a lid but this was the only piece there.
