I love these, got to get one, 1973...out all night danceing and drinking then off to Your Host restaurant for breakfast, every booth had one of these, I'd plunk in my change and play one of my favorites, " Summer Breeze.. makes me feel fine... blowin through the jasmine of my mind...."
Opening up a 50's burger joint, eh.
Thanks for all the love and comments
EJW-54, nice story, I would love to knew this time, sadly I'm too young for that
3 years ago I went to San Francisco and I discovered the Lorri's diner where they have wallbox on each table that's what makes me starting to collect 1920-1960's items
first thing i would do when we went anywhere these were at was to ask my dad for change to play those great oldie's but goodie's.the memories are overwhelming.i am still looking for a full size juke box to go in my bedroom, but at the high prices guess i will have to continue playing all my old 33's...have a huge selection and enjoy most all of them.(yes young folks,a record player ..lol)
