I found today this bakelite radio produced in France by Sonora, it's the Sonorette model and it's really sought-after by colelctors, last year I saw one in the Netherlands and it was priced at 900 € ! I got it today for 1/3 of this price, that can be expensive for a radio but this one is a real beauty, it was produced in 1949 and there was several colors produced, if I remember ( Brown, green, red, white, burgundy )

schallerpen, sonora made the design of their radios to look like the grills of old cars from the 1940's, that's why most colelctors wants so much thoses radios
I had no clue about looking like old cars, but I can surely see that in them, I can see where I need to start collecting some, we went out yesterday but didn't see any.
