This is a really cool ring that I acquired and paid $47. I love that is so big and really comfortable to wear. The ring is a size 7 and it's one of my favourites...

vintagejewel, don't laugh but my 12 year old is already tagging the pieces before the Bella is aware. I have to stop her from claiming all of the good pieces. I will equally dole out the pieces when they are 35-40 years old. Not anytime sooner! So they will be settled and have a job with no hiccups of finance and or relationships. I will leave the timing in my will. With prerequisites to receive them. What do you think? I hope it does not sound harsh...but in 2 relationships I lost everything(all my jewelry!) And they walked.
Your twelve year old is a smart girl! I agree with the rules of giving it out, I to have lost jewelry not being smart selling when I was younger for nothing or a few rings my mom gave me and I lost them at school. I hear your pain about losing your jewelry from relaitionships uhh that sucks (if jewelry could talk the stories we would hear)!
vintagejewel, I am very sensitive to some pieces that look good but for the life of me cannot wear against my skin. I sometimes sense that something tragic has occurred(by looking or touching) to the owner of the Antique piece while either wearing it or not.... and I have to sell it or not buy it. All jewelry whether new or old ...takes on the essence of the wearer. Or shall we say the beholder. So the older the piece that more baggage we take on. So what I do is spiritually cleanse the jewelry while in the full Moon. And bless and release the past owners. I only put it under the Moonlight for the night. Sorry if I am babbling...let me know what you think :)
