One of those conundrums?? where and who made these vases .
Many where made in Bohemia for the English market as well as those made there.
Victorian in taste it is not " IN " these days but I still love these pieces one can see and feel the skill of the glass maker.
This a long with other ' Victorian " glass resides on rather cluttered dressing table so I can se them often.

    Same here, would have to see the bottom of the piece. There were a lot of reproductions out of Italy in the 40's.

    Lovely OzM. I for one am pleased Victorian glass isn't 'in' at the moment...keeps the prices down:)

    I agree Vintagefran just scored another piece and only one other bidder ( I suspect I was the only one and online auction ran the price up!)

    Great isn't it! last vase i posted, low starting bid & 1 long may Victorian glass be OUT.

    I just got a bunch of glass in a similar style. Would like to know what the bottom of Italy reproductions in the 40s would look like. My vases glow under black light! Yay! I agree, may Victorian be "out of fashion". I am thinking this is bohemian.
