old trunk I got from the dump. How old is it?
This trunk has been tho the wars and is in bad nick. I don't know much about this one,it would be cool to get some info on it.
I'm just going to store some old stuff I find at the dump in them n hind them away.
I will one day see if I can get it Restored maybe.

Nice old trunk -- I have come across these types along the way. I believe they are wicker covered with canvas or often leather. A lighter alternative to some of the heavier trunks of the time. Probably circa early 1900's. The interior is in pretty good shape for its age. Nice that the tray is intact.

T-Mon, I like this & was sure you would jump on it. Looks like leather to me. "carry-on luggage" from ages past? bet you have already bought a ticket to fly over to the U.K to ck this out!
I don't think it's Leather more like hessian material with a black Lacquer on it.
Well if Trunkman approves, it must be a super nice find. I love it's overall look. What do you keep in it? Other finds, or extra blankets?
That's what I was thinking chanelle, yeah I put what ever I find into it till it's full then try to find a place for it.
