This is a beautiful figurine with very nice detail. It stands about 4 1/2 inches high. There is a gold metallic sticker on the bottom that reads Japan, along with a manufactures symbol. It doesn't look as though this is one "whole piece", what I mean by that is the bucket and little girl look as though they are (glued?) onto the base. Any information on this item would be appreciated! Thank you.

Hard to see the label in the photo, but looks similar to Heygill Imports, based in Hong Kong and exported goods from Japan & other parts of Asia in the 1950-60's. Is it egg cup size?
I would say that the cup could fit an egg, yes :-)
