The dial on this clock appears to be anodized aluminum, red, almost magenta in color. Original painted finish on chapter ring, outer ring, and base is silver-grey enamel. The clock was also offered in chrome, with a red, black, or blue dial. Dial material also varied; either metal or celluloid. The area between dial and outer ring is open, not glazed. Height is about 10 1/2 in. Eight-day mechanical movement. Designed by Frank N. Mariani, it was patented July 13, 1937. The clock was manufactured by Diecasters, Inc. of NY.
