being the amateur on all this beautiful glass is something i hope to remedy thanks to all the pro's on here,i hope some of you can give me an idea if any of this is old or maybe retired pieces...some i can't find online or in my books.i bought all of it at auction and still wondering what possesed me to do it other than it was so pretty,i haven't even had a set of china with all the kids around my place,so what was i thinking??..lol..but i take it out of the box every so often to just see if i could decorate with some of it,but raising a 2 yr old great g.son since he was 2 months and decided his curiosity and climbing abilities would make that impossible..lol..just hate having it hid away,so not sure what i'm going to do with it yet.y'all have great day.maggie

ty inky,how nice of you to respond...yes i'm sure someone out there will have some clue on the pitcher and lamp,most of the others i have seen on e-bay so that has helped me to gage the price range if i do decide to sell and let some one enjoy them as i can't at this time.and ty for the added welcome,you have all been so sweet.
one more thing....i also don't have a clue on the abc ,and bird plate...oh my gosh there is so much to look for and admire.

Most of the hobnail appears to be Fenton, except tumblers they are older, maybe hobbs, us glass. The Jack in the pulpit appears to be english, Webb or Davidson. The footed bowl is a satin glass what appears to be a greek key bowl. The bowl in the back right in picture two appears to be thousand eyes or raindrop. Hopefully that helps, hard to tell the pattern on the small pitcher, maybe a side view would help, I believe there are several others in that pattern. Always, just my humble opinion...love vaseline glass...
OH MY GOSH,TY BOTH....those are names and patterns i have never even heard of..ty,ty,ty...now for more research think i might have a few pieces of westmorland in the box also...such a shame to pack it away..many thanks for the welcomes.
