Hi! I have a great treasure that I found in a thrift store! I have no idea what it is. Looks middle eastern, possibly a sari. Real silver pieces are folded and woven around the fabric. Would love to know more! It is 6' long and 2' wide. Have you ever seen anything like it?

Hi. It's an assuit shawl which originates in Egypt. It's probably from the 1920s, and is a fantastic find.
Thank you!
