Greetings: I share a Sevres Royal Service tea set, consisting of a serving tray, teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, and two cups and saucers. It is finely painted with multiple birds and gold highlights. Sevres (Department of Hauts-de-Seine, France) was the official manufacturer of porcelain for French nobility. This service set was expressly made for the Castle Neuilly, and is appropriately marked on each piece (even the lids) with a red wreath and the words "Chateau de Neuilly" in the center. It is also marked with the Royal mark of Louis Phillippe (1830-48). The LP mark (in green overglaze) is flanked by "SV" (for Sevres) and "43" (for 1843). Except for some expected wear to the gold gilding along the cup rims, the set is in outstanding condition.
