Hi, Recently I bought this at an auction for $3.00, good find for me. It's marked PK 101 PAT. PEND. Also there is an engraving of a fish on it. Can anyone tell me something about this reel, what PK stands for? Who made it and when? It's a neat old reel and glad to have it. Thanks, Dave

Many thanks to YardSaleDave and Rivertrout for your input. I saw the sale on eBay for this reel and was surprised with amount. But finding a buyer is a different story. Again, thanks to the both of you. Dave
This fly reel was made by Pachner & Keller Inc., 3400 Archer Avenue, Chicago 8, Illinois. If I remember right the reel was made between 1940 and 1950. The reel was sold for $3.98 when new.
