I'm not sure of the age of this old metal watch crystal cabinet with a foot pedal operated press.
Since Kevin (AR8Jason) posted his watch parts cabinet I thought I would post this.
This cabinet has a total of 16 drawers with the top drawer having the blocks & plugs used with the press on top of the cabinet to set the watch crystals in the watch bezel. The press is operated by the foot pedal in the open space below the bottom drawer.
All the drawers are full of pocket watch crystals and wristwatch crystals of all sizes and shapes. The base of the press is marked, Germanow-Simon Co.
Rochester, N.Y. U.S.A.
This is what I found about the company still in business under G-S Supplies, Inc.:

G-S Supplies, Inc, originally known as Germanow-Simon Machine
Company, was founded in 1916 by Harry Germanow and Julius Simon in Rochester, New York.

Our products are distributed worldwide into multiple industries: Watch and Jewelry Repair, Jewelry Design, Hobby and Craft, Hardware, Production and Assembly, Optical, Aeronautics and Camera Repair.

Rochester, New York is the location of corporate and administrative offices as well as research and development, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing operations.

Thanks for looking,

I have two of these... this size and one half the size, I use as side table in my sunroom and keep all sorts of bits and bobs in the drawers. I am one day going spray paint them a brighter colour. They are so useful...:-)
