I purchased this as an early birthday present for myself, and I cannot think of anything else more perfect! Snake is a popular motif in Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry, and this version has been done and redone so many times with slight variations. I have seen many of this in the form of a bracelet, but never a mechanical watch. The head and tip of tail is paved with different-sized clear crystal rhinestones with two emerald cabochons as the eyes. When the head is pulled backwards, it reveals a watch. This was made for the watch company Sheffield, and is marked as such on the dial. Other marks include "17 JEWELS", "SHOCK RESISTANT", and "SWISS MADE M1", as well as "KJL" with a registered mark. This is from the 1980s, and it originally sold for USD60!
