These were called "Change Makers". They would've been found in department stores to drugstores and hardware stores back in the day. I have collected these and many other knives for years but never thought I would find the original case they were sometimes sold in till last week. The knives sold for around 30 cents a piece and people would buy them for their children or themselves. Keychain knives to all out camp knives, Imperial and it's Hammer Brand, owned the cheaper pocketknife market back in the 1940s through the 1960s. And now I'm the lucky owner of one of their display cases!

Hey thank you sugargirl, sanhardin, blunderbuss and Kevin!!
Yes sir Kevin, that's cool! I have a friend in West Virginia that is crazy over these Imperial knives too. He has everything else I don't own. You wouldn't think that would be much but Imperial made knives for some 80 years. He has displays and cards but also has a lot of the blister packs, and cardboard single knife offerings they put out in the 1960s. Plus all the those fish knives! Shell handled knives ruled the cheap knife market for more than 50 years and Imperial made most of them, I think Colonial made the rest.
Very nice find Perry, glad it ended up in your hands! Great addition to show off your collection!
