My dad , a farmer in Martin County Minnesota, found this pipe while working in the field. I have not been able to find any info about the pipe, but lots of info about col. Weber. Any information would be appreciated.

Glad you shared this PRE-war declaration with us. Innocence before the War was fast cured. Also in all wars. National fevor wains quick after you have a bullet go thru you! Commemorative pipes are a German tradition. This one with it's German-American Civil War connection is an absolute gem.
