    Can someone tell me more about date and maker. Thanks. I bought stuff on an auction years ago and got these jugs in the lot. I have never seen any others and don't recognise the mark.

      If you click on the image or touch it on an iPad it will expand and the marks are easy to see. Gold painted anchor above inscribed in pottery Germany.

      There are many anchor makers mark, it's hard to tell without closeup details but could be Chelsea Porcelain Works, London, or a fake Chinese copy!

      Clicking on the picture provides detailed views. The pottery says Germany so they are not Chelsea or Chinese.

      Where does it say Germany? I see the anchor, even when I enlarge it I can't see enough details. Can you post a closer photos of the marks. Not everyone has an iPad.
