This item was found in Northern Wisconsin while picking bottles ect. about 40 years ago on an old abandoned farm. If you remove the broken piece and look inside, each chamber between the wooden pieces has what apears to be a couple of peas inside. If you shake it you can hear them all bouncing around inside. Cannot be taken apart without breaking it. Individual pieces are locked together. No one has been able to tell me what this is or what it was used for. Please help!!
