This trophy topper was awarded in 1896 to the Hackensack Wheelmen, which I have researched to have been a bicycle club. They received this as a second place in a 2 mile team race. It came from the ACC of NJ. I cannot tell what type of metal it is but it is soft I don't want to scratch it for it has toning to it.
