Here is the story of Joy – she is a resin elephant – but the resins look similar on rhino’s posting –
joy I purchased in the early 90s on one of my business trips with Sandoz pharmaceutical – I was in charolette nc – bored after many meeting of negotiations with the glass companies on the east coast – it was a 10 million dollar contract – i walked the markets and came across Joy – I thought this will be perfect to bring to the home and give to my daughter – paid $60 for her at the time and that would be an ouch for today’s time as you see them in the goodwill outlets etc

Still have joy and she sits in my bookcase after many moves with no damage to her
