Hi
Ironically, I was just visiting a site called 1stdibs.com, and I think I was in the Americana section, and just saw a bike similar to this from the late 1800s. It was in really good shape and the paint color was very similar to the one on yours. They had it listed for $4200 or $4800. If yours is in original condition and original paint, then don't restore it at all. Just take it to a bike conservator who can clean up the rust for you. Sometimes it can be cleaned up but sometimes it's too extensive to do it. The conservator should be able to tell you if it can be cleaned up and even what the value could be. I hope it's valued as much as the one on 1stdibs:) Best wishes to you.
Hi!
