This miniature mannequin is all composition and stands approximately 24" tall. She has jointed arms and is in fantastic condition with no breaks or repairs. I am hoping that someone "out there" can help me identify her! She has a knock-out face like Grace Kelly or maybe Betty Grable? I don't know if she has been repainted or not, but her only flaws are a few light scuffs. I haven't tried to clean her as I'm not sure what to use. She came from an Estate sale of an upscale home in SW Florida, and I think she has definitely been lovingly cared for; I would think in a display cabinet. She is not wearing a dress, just a piece of silky material that was draped around her.
I would appreciate any and all information that anyone might have! Thank you so much!!

Hi your mannequin is one I have seen many times . We have not determined her maker but we call her" A couture mannequin".She was made to be a display model for counter top in store to model clothes in minature size . The one Thing I am wondering about is her hair it is shiney which it is usually flat paint ,She dates from 1940's and is one that collectors of mannequins love .Do not clean her you could ruin her painting . These girls do not like anything on their bodies to clean, some types you ca clean but her flat paint is very touchy . I will email you a few to look at that I have in PC . She is USA made and in beautiful condition .

As I look better hair is correct :-) I sent you an email showing you 3 others like yours :-) Some of the mannequins we can attribute to a certain company but she although found fairly often has alluded being identified to any company with much studing . They were never marked nor were there bases they stood on . Just a beautiful girl . Love her a lot

She appears to have had some re painting btw :-) glossy hair has been covered with a sealant and hard to see face close up for lips redone.
