    this is a lizard fossil i found in death valley california area,i was in las vegas to see the gratefull dead and went to death valley,found this by the opening to a small cave

      think i'm going to take it to n.c state up the road here and see if they can fiqure out how old it is and what it is

      How cool is that! I do the same thing when I go places. I look to see if the location is known for any specific fossils, gems, or minerals and take my girls out hunting with me. I'm a bit of a rock hound.

      i always wanted to see the desert,i did not research anything i just got lucky.could not belive it was laying right out in the open the way it was,about 25-30 ft from a walking path

      Where is the lizard within this matrix, I can't tell? Did you ever take it to N.C. State, I am a fossil hunter myself and would love to hear what you came up with.
