ONE OF THE WEIRDEST THINGS ABOUT URANIUM IS THAT IN MOST CASES ONE LITERALLY DOES NOT KNOW WHICH PIECES HAVE IT AND WHICH ONES DO NOT.

THEREFORE, IF YOU ARE AN INSOMNIAC LIKE ME, YOU WALK AROUND THE HOUSE IN THE DARK, POINTING YOUR UV AT THE WALLS, TRYING TO FIND URANIUM IN YOUR GLASS.

THESE EXAMPLES ARE ALL TENTATIVELY IDENTIFIED AS KRALIK. OF PARTICULAR INTEREST : THE INKWELLS ON PIC.2, PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED AS STOLZLE.

URANIUM WAS ROUTINELY USED IN COMBINATION WITH NONREACTIVE GLASS IN ATTACHMENTS SUCH LEAVES, FLOWERS AND HANDLES, AS IS SHOWN IN PICS. 3 AND 4.

THE VASE TO THE LEFT IN PIC. 3 IS 9" TALL, BUT BECAUSE OF THE BLACK BACKGROUND, YOU BARELY SEE AN OUTLINE OF IT. OWEVER, THE URANIUM USED IN THE ATTACHMENT GLOWS VIVIDLY.

I wonder what the rate is for insomniacs and glass collecting. I know I am one. I am actually not sure if I'd be classified as an insomniac or something whose internal body clock is really set on a different rhythm it feels unnatural to have a normal schedule for me. almost impossible to keep up.

I have done that (wandering around with UV in the dark) more times than I am comfortable talking about :)
