    Hi All,
I have a envelope that was postmarked in Nov. 1969 mailed from Lincoln Ent.
Star Trek Ent. 1023 N. La Brea. Hollywood, Calif. 90038. Inside there is a First Draft dated March 11, 1964 created by Gene Roddenberry. There is also blueprints for the Enterprise, a biography on William Shatner, eight cells that have images of what looks like the actors during takes, Two posters one of William Shatner and the other Leonard Nimoy and a badge that is still sealed that looks the one worn on there uniforms. I have spent months trying to find information on what I have, I even had it viewed by a online appraiser who didnt give me much info other than the little I found on my own. There are only two other examples that I found and they were missing the envelope and everything else in it , they were just the same copies of the First Draft. My questions are if anyone can help: What was this called? Is the envelope complete with everything it was first mailed with?
Thanks any help will be greatly appreciated.

Im pretty sure I already emailed them a few months ago and didnt receive anything back. But with your suggestion, I will try again. This has got to be the hardest thing I have ever researched.
Thanks again Dave for your help on these two items.

It looks like a promotional packet, they used to send slides back then. I have some older packs from the late 60's early 70's. They also included slides. I would say its a rare find, just have to find someone who knows. Try Heritage Auctions, just maybe someone there may know more. Dave

      Dave,
I used the link an emailed them. Hopefully im thinking of another site I tried and didnt receive a email back from. It would be great to finally get some good information. The online appraiser I used, in his comment back to me said that envelope was probably mailed in the late 70s. I knew than his guess was as good as mine. I did have the postmark checked out by the local Philatelic Society and its the real deal, not Facsimile. Well hopefully your link will help put an end to my misery ..No I mean Mystery. John.

      Dave,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It took a couple of days to get permission to post but as a few hours ago I am allowed to post on the forms at Star Trek Prop Collector. As soon as I get good information I will update it here and hopefully mark this as SOLVED!!
      JOHN.

      Dave, you are THE man.
Turns out this was mailed from Roddenberry's company, Lincoln Enterprises. It was sold out of a catalog from the late 60's in different pieces that were available for purchase by the fans. I think the correct term for the envelope is "Press Packet". If you had the catalog you were able to buy just the Item you wanted or for a few more bucks you could buy in groups. I was able to view a few pages of the original catalog and see what else was offered. I don't even have close to everything that was available but maybe over time ill find more bits and pieces.
Thanks again Dave, I couldn't have done this without your help.
      JOHN.
