This ivory hand fan has been passed down from my grandmother who passed away years ago. I have no idea who made it and when. There are no markings anywhere on it. It's in mint condition. Any ideas ?
Thank you.
Updated info!
The following is an expert opinion of this ivory hand fan. The expert is Mr. Bauer of Germany who is well known for detail and for his knowledge of collectables. Here is what he wrote: Added January 27th, 2011.
"The subjects of ivory is for young girls in 1900 ... 1930th It was used in the theater, to dance and walk in the park during the summer when we find it today on the antique market, it is often faulty, because it is so delicate. This is a nice original example!"

My apologies for a long time away from here. Divorce will do that. Thank you everyone for your responses. Yes, this piece is in pristine condition. Not a mark on it. This and everything else I have posted on this wonderful site, has been passed down in the family. Wishing you all a great day.
