An autographed copy of "Love Conquers All" by Robert Benchley, dated July 22nd, 1925.
The autograph reads:
"Fraternally dedicated to the inspiration of this little Volume Dick Picard,
friend and co-plagiarist."
A prize possession, Benchley shared an office with Dorothy Parker at the New Yorker and was also a member of the Algonquin Round Table. He was a satirist, author of a number essays later turned into books, He wrote books for musical comedy, and made countless short subjects at MGM in the 30's into the 40's.
