I started buying a special doll for my daughter every year for Christmas (she's 21 now), and she became quite a collector on her own.
I always tried to find the doll that most looked like her!
It soon became apparent she was going to need a doll house, then she required a cabinet. The house has been misplaced in the last move, but there was no misplacing this cabinet. Custom made doors and all(it weighs a ton!), made by yours truly!

This cabinet I wanted to look old, so I ship-lapped & pegged the door corners, piano-hinged them(they are heavy), and set-in the mullions old-school style . Also no fancy crown moldings or trim, just very plain for my first attempt at building one of these! I've built several more since. Good luck with yours!
