I am taking a moment to post a photo of Great Grandmother, who's items I am posting on this site to learn more about, and my late grandmother (my mother's mother) as a tribute to how I am fortunate enough to have found this site and the wonderful people who use it.

What a rare opportunity Phil! I'm glad that it worked out like it did. As with you you, I am finding the negatives to most of these photos also. And to be able to reprint these is such a golden opportunity. I am blessed to have come accross such a treasure and to be able to start putting pieces of the puzzle together and create such a detailed timeline of my family heritage. -Tim

And Many Thanks for the compliments and warm welcome to CW everybody!

These are so wonderful sacgemini ! Your grandmothers in last photo looks to be in the 1920's and the middle one in 1940's . The first photo from 1919 is she the mother of other 2 ladies ? Treasured photo's and so nice to have them, I have tried to keep all our families old photo's as many generations as I can . My Great Mother is as far back as I have photo's of as well .
Your welcomed with open arms to CW and what a kind person you are :-) We will look forward to more photo's as you uncover your treasures .

I love the way the girl is seated in the third photo. By her body language you would think she was getting tired of having her picture taken. :-)
You're lucky to have the photo's & negatives as well.

Thank You Manikin and walksoftly! That third photo is my great grandmother at 9 yrs old. By going through several photographs and putting all the notes together from what was written on the back of a fraction of them, I was able to determine that she was born in 1850 and passed in 1930 at the age of 80. That first photo "Easter Greetings" was taken in 1929 at age of 79.
