H37 table lamp (Reina), unknown designer (Lupela, 1960s)

This is my Reina (Queen) table lamp by LUPELA. I am posting it today because I wanted to show Amber the competitor of the green gooseneck lamp I posted here yesterday. Dear Amber, this is the reasson why poor old little green lamp lives in the junk room instead of on the desk... isn't it a beauty? there is a bronce version of it (http://www.etsy.com/listing/116827001/mid-century-lupelafase-desk-lamp) but I love this one.

My father bought it for his office desk at the end of the 1960s, when he bought the flat where he worked as a doctor for more than 30 years (and where I'm living now). I remember the look of the place at the moment, the wallpaper, the 60s easychairs, the paintings and a lot of 60s stuff... nowadays only the lamps, the bathroom fittings (mirror, lamp, hangers...) and the courtains remain in the house (and I'm not sure for how long, because these are my lamps now and I am not leaving them there when I leave the place).

LUPELA was a small family factory that did excell in the design of their products. The look of them is simmilar to that of the famous FASE ones, but I have to say LUPELA was the first one in making this kind of lamps, although in time FASE became bigger and more popular.

This model REINA bears the H37 number in LUPELA's catalogue.
