Thrift Store. Looks old but cannot find it anywhere. Not marked anywhere but I thought it was cute and different. Have a good day.

When I looked at the base I thought I saw a face or skeleton head impressed under the glaze. Could be my imagination, but Dutch designer Charles Vos used a similar mark, usually stamped. Couldn't find any examples of his work to see his style. He worked in the 1920's and also did work for de Sphinx in Holland.

I have been trying to figure out the clay used . I have never seen clay like this so assume it must be from another country. Can't make out any kind of mark though. Thanks so much for looking Mary.
