A possibility is Metzler & Ortloff (1875 to 1972) of Ilmenau, Thuringia, Germany. This mark looks to be one of the standard export marks used from around 1923.
"Quite a few well known sculptors worked for 'Metzler & Ortloff' or had their items produced there, for example Paul Wynand and the specialist for animal figures Paul Zeiler. Numerous figures were designed by Siegismund Wernekinck who also worked for the company of Galluba & Hoffmann."

It's gorgeous! Is it a Disney based theme? Dumbo?

Would this have been around that long ago.I checked the makers mark and it is spot on, to be from 1890's to 1945.......I really like it...Even more right now...lol. Thank again...If I find out more on it, now thx to you, I will post

BTW Vet Dumbo sometimes is what I think of myself when it comes to figuring out what things are .....lol

I suppose dumbo has pink ears. But I think the pertinent name for the design might be Paul Zeiler. Gustav Oppel is another maybe. The list of artists who worked for them is a who's who at the time.
